Book Flight

Passengers with special needs are those with a disability caused by a temporary or permanent physical disability (sensory or motor)‚ mental disability or other type of disability. People with disabilities can be elderly people and/or those with an illness.

Fly Sevenair cannot accept passengers with a level of disability that requires the presence of a carer‚ unless the carer travels with the passenger. It is up to the passenger to make arrangements to be accompanied by the care provider(s) sufficient to assist them during the journey.

If you have specific requirements‚ you must inform us of these requirements at least 72 hours before your trip. Passengers with specific needs must present themselves at check-in at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure time of the flight.

Wheelchairs and mobility aids that cannot be moved manually into the hold of the aircraft will only be accepted for travel if both airports can provide means to load/unload the device. Please note that some airports may not have sufficient equipment to move wheelchairs and heavy mobility aids. (See note 1)

Before boarding the plane‚ you must make sure that you are in perfect medical condition to fly. You should not fly' if for any reason you suspect or are informed that you have an illness that may be aggravated by the normal operation of the aircraft or that may cause you difficulties if you do not have medical assistance until the end of the flight. If in doubt‚ you should seek professional medical help before boarding one of our flights.

Passengers with reduced mobility who are not self-sufficient must always travel accompanied. The airline does not provide specific sanitary‚ hygienic or safety assistance services on board.

Guide dogs will be transported in the cabin in accordance with the airline's and the country's import regulations. The transportation of guide dogs will not be charged. The PMRs will not be charged for the transport of basic mobility aid objects or other essential auxiliary items in case of disability.

The airline shall not reject a PRM except where that person cannot be carried without risk‚ if he or she cannot be physically accommodated or the specific services required during the flight cannot be provided. If the carriage of a PRM is denied‚ the companies must clearly and explicitly explain the reasons for the rejection

Note 1 : Due to restrictions on the aerodromes on the Bragança regional line we will not be able to transport passengers without any type of mobility as well as electric wheelchairs.

MEDA — MEDICAL CASES

It is considered a medical case when a passenger has a medical situation in which they depend on third parties or personalized assistance. In these cases‚ it is necessary to:

Completed MEDIF form' signed and letterhead (vignette) by the passenger's doctor describing the diagnosis' to be later analyzed by the company's medical services.

Passengers with reduced mobility may carry two mobility equipment (wheelchairs‚ walkers) free of charge

Can passengers travel on a stretcher?

If necessary‚ passengers can travel on a stretcher. In such a case‚ the passenger will have to pay five times the fare of the Economy Class ticket for the flight in question. In addition‚ passengers who need to travel on a stretcher must have a companion‚ whose ticket will be charged separately. If you need to travel on a stretcher‚ you and your companion must notify Sevenair at least 10 days in advance and present a medical certificate as well as the form (MEDIF) duly completed and signed by the doctor.

The following must be included in the reservation:

The details about the ambulance in the departure/arrival scales (corporations/hospital of origin and destination);

The contact of the passenger or companion at the place of boarding.

Any additional equipment requested by the company must be provided by the passenger.

Important

It shall be defined whether the passenger may be transferred from the stretcher carrying him to the stretcher of the aircraft.

The patient on a stretcher is subject‚ like any other passenger‚ to situations of:

Abort on takeoff

Turbulence

Depressurization (oxygen masks)

Landing in adverse weather conditions

Emergency landing

Sudden braking while rolling

Important information

This facility is not available for all aircraft in the Fly Sevenair fleet or for all routes operated by the company.

OXYGEN ON BOARD

It is necessary that the passenger travels accompanied by someone with the ability to provide the necessary assistance‚ preferably a doctor or nurse.

However‚ you can travel unaccompanied if you are able to perform the task alone. You must have prior authorization from the medical services with you.

Fly Sevenair does not have an oxygen bottle on board‚ however‚ passengers can travel‚ if necessary‚ with an oxygen bottle provided by another entity and duly accompanied by a nurse or doctor.

The use of oxygen supplied by the passenger is not permitted and the administration of oxygen by the crew is also not possible.

Chemical oxygen generators will not be allowed
