LITHIUM BATTERIES
Carrying lithium batteries is limited by its characteristics and depends on whether it is installed in the equipment or if you want to carry it as a loose part.
Check the table and confirm that you can travel as carry-on or have to be checked!
When you check in a battery installed in a Notebook‚ camera‚ mobile phone‚ or similar devices‚ turn off the battery‚ applications‚ alarms‚ or settings that may activate the device again. Also‚ take steps to ensure that they are not activated by accident.
Smart luggage is NOT accepted as checked or hand baggage unless you remove the batteries and carry them in the cabin with you.
The terminals of all loose batteries you carry in your carry-on bag must be protected to prevent short circuits. Use the original packaging‚ protect the terminals or use individual plastic bags for each battery.
